This is a French Restaurant, which is part of a culinary training school. Serving great food it also makes money for the school as well as offering training and experience for those that attend the school.

Feel Myanmar Food
Popular with the locals this Burmese food restaurant is a busy place. Lunchtime and before 6pm are the best times to get there for the best selection and freshest food on offer. It’s a great place to start on your Burmese Culinary Adventure.

House of Memories
Set in a mock Tudor colonial house that was once a residence of General Aung San, this restaurant serves a variety of food and has some great history to boot.

999 Shan Noodle House
It’s all in the name really. Cheap, tasty noodle house just 5 min walk from the Sule Pagoda, just behind City Hall. It’s small with tables crammed in but offers friendly service. Everything you would expect from one of those special finds.

Off The Beaten Track
This spot was set up as an information exchange for independent travellers, the aim was to provide updates on the frequently changing travel permits throughout the country. Cafe, bar and restaurant there’s a delicious and varied menu of drinks, nibbles and eats while you listen to sound advice. A great place to start your exploration of Myanmar.

Lucky 7
Lucky 7 is an affordable tea house and a great place to sample a traditional Burmese breakfast. At lunch time, you can try the Burmese staple Mohinga, which is a traditional rice noodle fish soup.

Easy
Easy Cafe and Restaurant offers a western Asian fusion menu and a quiet oasis of calm. The food is tasty and well presented. There are veggie options too and great coffee and sweet treats.

Aux Saisons
Aux Saisons serves great value top quality French and western food along with pizza, pasta, great salads along with top notch cocktails too. The dining room is modern and has floor to ceiling windows all around. It’s a newer place and offers a slightly more affordable menu than others in this bracket.
